Our Career Development volunteer position assists clients with job preparation and seeking, as well as maintenance after securing employment. This will include creating or updating a resume, building interview skills, and teaching the client ways to search for a job within a formalized and identified career plan. Volunteers may also assist with vocational assessments, applications for items such as SSI, Food Stamps, Medi-Cal, etc., getting clients connected with school-related services, and counseling around issues that may come up in school or work environments.
There is one volunteer position in this program. We are currently taking resumes.
