The Initial Assessment process is an integral requirement for determining the needs of those seeking treatment at Sanctuary Centers. This initial assessment is used to ensure that our team offers the exact level of care appropriate for each individual client. The initial assessment process includes an interview, during which a preliminary psychological profile is built. This profile includes the client’s histories of medication and previous treatment, family history and psychological history, as well as the client’s current living, work, and social situations. If a client is not interested in coming to Sanctuary Centers, or if our facilities would not be appropriate for a client’s needs, we will make every effort to provide resources or refer the client to a more suitable treatment provider.
The $1,000 Initial Assessment fee for Mental Health Inpatient Care includes:
- Phone calls from the Intake Coordinator, President/CEO, and/or the Clinical Director directly communicating with the family and/or individual seeking treatment.
- Orientation materials covering our locations and treatments, describing our programs, services, and fees, and explaining how our admissions process works.
- Review of the completed Referral Form by our Program Director, Clinical Director or staff psychologist.
